Plane Crashes at Brown Field in Otay Mesa

San Diego – Emergency crews were at the scene of a non-injury airplane accident at Brown Field Airport in Otay Mesa, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Initial reports were that a single-engine Stearman biplane veered off the runway after landing and tipped over onto its nose, sustaining minor damage.

The two people who were aboard the aircraft required no medical attention, the FAA advises.
